Support
NotchPixel for Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Contact us
Email info@notchpixel.live. Tell us what you were doing when it went wrong, which version of Windows you use, and add a screenshot if you can. A real person reads every message.
System requirements
- Windows: Windows 10 version 2004 (build 19041, May 2020) or later, or Windows 11. 64-bit (x64) PCs only. Any DPI, one or more monitors. From the Microsoft Store.
- macOS: in development, no date yet.
Is it safe to install?
NotchPixel is installed and updated only by the Microsoft Store, and Microsoft signs the package. The publisher shown in the Store is KORE INDUSTRIES. We never send .exe files, by email or anywhere else.
The only place to get it is its Microsoft Store page. If you see NotchPixel offered anywhere else, it isn't from us; tell us where at info@notchpixel.live.
Getting started
NotchPixel sits at the top centre of your screen. Rest the pointer on it for a moment and it opens into a card; move away and it closes. Its settings open from the NotchPixel icon in the notification area, next to the clock.
Games
- In a fullscreen game NotchPixel either hides completely or shows a slim FPS, CPU, GPU and RAM strip, whichever you choose in Settings, Gaming.
- If the strip does not appear, set the game's display mode to borderless or windowed fullscreen. In exclusive fullscreen the game owns the screen and nothing can draw over it.
- Your mouse will not open the island or the web drawer while you aim. To use either mid-game, bring your cursor up (Esc or the game's menu), or press Ctrl+Alt+N.
Keyboard shortcuts
- Ctrl+Alt+N open or close the island
- Ctrl+Alt+P play or pause
- Ctrl+Alt+M mute the microphone
- Ctrl+Alt+H hide the island
- Ctrl+Alt+S screenshot, Ctrl+Alt+C pick a colour
Every shortcut can be changed in Settings.
Reporting a problem
NotchPixel keeps a small diagnostic log on your PC. Attaching it to your email helps us find the cause quickly. Paste this into the File Explorer address bar to find it:
%AppData%\NotchPixel\notchpixel.log
It contains no personal data beyond what is on your screen: app names and error messages.
Uninstalling
Settings, Apps, NotchPixel, Uninstall.
Refunds
Microsoft sells the licence and decides refunds; request one from your order history at account.microsoft.com/billing/orders. Refunds aren't guaranteed. For anything else about a purchase, email us.
Privacy
NotchPixel has no account and collects nothing. Read the privacy policy for exactly what the app reads on your computer.
